Over 25 Years in the Industry.
Graduating with a BFA in 1986 from the University of Washington’s Graphic Design program, I worked for the next 3 years for a boutique design firm in Seattle called Nichols + Zweibel. There I learned how to really polish the training I recieved, working for the first time with local printers and production companies. We designed brochures, posters, invitations for large-scale gatherings, bookcovers, and identity systems. Clients included non-profit museums, local construction and area manufacturers.
I transitioned to Bank of America in 1990 and spent the next ten years working in the Seattle creative department for Seafirst Bank. This was an amazing experience where I was trained to design on computer, something that wasn’t offered while I was in school. I worked with our Advertising department to design most branch marketing and signage, as well as with the Trust and Executive departments for high profile materials. I was lucky to be the recipient of many design projects that our bank funded for local theaters, museums and non-profits. I also worked with our Communications team closely to design our annual report and a number of employee handbooks and benefits materials.
In 2000, my husband and I moved our family north to Snohomish Washington, where I founded LincMedia Design. My current client base includes several clinics and healing professionals, as well as local small businesses and corporations.
